Elderberry Rosemary Ginseng Hot Chocolate

Stress Relieving Hot Chocolate
It’s Good for You!

We’ve recently introduced a new tea flavor and we’re really excited to tell you about it.

Elderberry Rosemary Ginseng Tea is a combination of elderberries, spearmint, rosemary, lemon balm, linden, eucalyptus, wood betony, blackberry leaf, and eleuthero root. We chose these herbs specifically for their balancing and stress relieving properties. Not only is it full of flavor, but we also think you’ll love the way it makes you feel.

So, how do these herbs work?

• Spearmint is a minty herb that is high in antioxidants and other plant compounds that may improve digestion, lower blood sugar, and reduce stress. *

• Rosemary is high in antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory compounds. Rosemary may help lower anxiety levels, and improve mood, memory, and sleep quality. *

• Lemon Balm relieves stress and reduces anxiety. It may also help boost cognitive function, and when combined with other herbs, may ease sleep disorders and restlessness. *

• Linden may help promote relaxation, fight inflammation, and reduce mild pain. Linden has been used in folk medicine to promote sleep because of its sedative properties, and to soothe the digestive tract. *

• Eucalyptus is high in antioxidants, may relieve cold symptoms, reduce pain, and promote relaxation. *

• Wood betony is an herb from the mint family that has been used successfully for hundreds of years for headaches, muscle aches, tension, and stress. *

• Eleuthero root is an Asian herb, also known as Siberian ginseng. Eleuthero root is an adaptogenic herb, thought to help protect the body from the effects of stress, and may be useful for relief of anxiety, depression, and stress burnout. *That’s an impressive line-up of stress relieving herbs! And when you are less stressed, you feel more energized and ready to manage the challenges of life.

And what’s even better, we discovered that the subtle flavors of these herbs were a perfect complement to hot chocolate. And because chocolate is rich in magnesium, a relaxing mineral, you get even more stress relief with this hot drink.

This really is a fantastic feel-good recipe, and it tastes so good, our taste testers were fighting over it. We really think you should give it a try!
